The Australian Electoral Commission has announced that the count for the election of six Senators for Victoria was completed today.
The successful candidates for the six Senate vacancies are (in order of their election):
The Australian Electoral Officer for the Victoria, Nye Coffey, said the distribution of preferences was conducted today.
“As with all aspects of the count, scrutineers appointed by the candidates were able to witness the automated distribution of preferences undertaken today,” Nye said.
All 2025 federal election results are available on the AEC’s tally room. Each Senate contest’s distribution of preferences download will be made available on the tally room soon after the announcement of successful candidates.
As occurs for all House of Representatives and Senate contests, a formal declaration of the poll event will be held soon. The declaration of the poll for the Victoria Senate is scheduled for tomorrow.
