Election jobs on offer for regional NSW
        Updated: 26 November 2024
The AEC is putting out a call across regional New South Wales for paid workers to help deliver
          Australia’s next
federal election – due by May of 2025.
There has been strong interest in the AEC’s recruitment drive for the next election, but more people
          are needed
          across the state.
In particular, the AEC is encouraging people in the following electorates to register their interest:

          - Parkes - including Coonamble, Bourke, Cobar, Moree, Dubbo, Nyngan, Narrabri, Broken Hill, Wyalong, Parkes
            and
            Forbes

          - New England - including Scone, Tamworth, Armidale, Inverell and Glen Innes

          - Page - including Lismore, Grafton, Coffs Harbour and surrounds

          - Calare - including Orange, Bathurst, Wellington, Blayney, Lithgow, Wallerawang, Mudgee and Rylstone

          - Farrer - including Griffith, Leeton, Albury, Deniliquin, Corowa, Narrandera, Hay, Wentworth, Lavington and
            Hay

          - Riverina - including Wagga Wagga.

Election jobs come in a variety of types, from working on election day through to engagement for up to 7
          weeks of a
          full election campaign period.
The AEC is also reminding people who may have worked at the 2023 referendum or a previous federal election
          that their
expression of interest will not carry over for the next federal election – they need to visit the
          AEC’s
website and register for temporary employment.
You can register your interest online by
            visiting the AEC’s website.
