The AEC conducts privacy impact assessments (‘PIA’) on all high privacy risk projects. A project may be a high privacy risk if the AEC reasonably considers that the project involves any new or changed ways of handling personal information that are likely to have a significant impact on the privacy of individuals.
The AEC maintains a register of PIAs below. To obtain more information or a summary copy of a PIA, please contact us via the online privacy enquiry form.
