Historic votes data

Download historic vote data extracts for all states and notional vote history for Victoria and South Australia (redistributed since the 2010 federal election). The party abbreviation used in these extracts is available from the 2010 election results (political parties).

Preliminary reference data

After the writ is issued, we will provide a data file (.csv format) which contains:

• A list of current federal electorates
• A list of registered parties for the 2013 federal election

Candidates

After the declaration of nominations the AEC will begin releasing a candidates download file with all data that has been finalised, the download will be updated every half hour until complete. A note accompanying the file will advise users what data is included while the file is incomplete.
