The postal ballot for Victoria No 1 Branch will close at 5pm on Wednesday 19 December 2012. The AEC has become aware of an anonymous letter which has been circulated to HSU members advising that voting is compulsory. The letter is misleading as voting is not compulsory for industrial elections and there is no fine for not voting.
