Tasmanian redistribution
Members of the public are invited to submit written feedback on ideas to the proposed redistribution report for the redistribution of Tasmania from Monday 30 March 2026.
95 ideas on the proposed redistribution of Tasmania were received between Friday 27 February 2026 and 6 pm AEDT Friday 27 March 2026. These can be viewed on the ideas on the proposed redistribution page.
When making a submission regarding the electorate boundaries in the proposed redistribution, it is strongly recommended that members of the public consider the redistribution and projected enrolment quotas, as these form the two key elements that underpin the redistribution.
Submissions must be received by the Electoral Commission by 6 pm AEST Friday 10 April 2026 to allow them to be considered.
