The redistribution of federal electorates in New South Wales commenced on Wednesday 9 August 2023

An independent Redistribution Committee was appointed to undertake the federal redistribution in New South Wales and they are supported by a small secretariat of staff from the AEC.

Commencement

Members of the public were invited to submit written suggestions relating to the redistribution between Wednesday 27 September and Friday 27 October 2023.
