Practise voting

These practise voting tools have been developed to explain the easiest way to make sure your vote will count in federal election events. They are interactive with easy to follow instructions on how to complete your ballot papers correctly.

Information about how to vote in other languages and translated practise voting tools are also available.

These tools are educational devices which do not seek to fully detail the complexity of informal and formal votes. For a comprehensive explanation of how votes are determined as formal or informal, see the Scrutineers handbook.
