Applications to change the Register of Political Parties
These advertisements have recently been placed, in the Commonwealth Government Notices Gazette and ten newspapers covering Australia, inviting objections to applications to register a political party, or applications to change a name and/or abbreviation in the Current List of Political Parties.
The advertisements are removed from this list when:
- the new party or changed name is included in the Current List of Political Parties, each of which links to their page in the Register; or
- the application is refused and a statement of reasons is available under Party Registration Decisions
