Official election statistics for 2004 onwards

From 2004, official election results are available from the Virtual Tally Room (VTR). The VTR provides the full suite of results and download data for the House of Representative and Senate at national, state, divisional and local polling place level.

Official election statistics for 1993, 1996, 1998 and 2001

The official election statistics are available on CD-ROM. The CD-ROM includes all the tables published in the printed volumes as well as polling place results for the House of Representatives and Senate elections in 1993, 1996 and 1998. It includes six data import files for the use of clients who wish to build their own database for further analysis of the election statistics.

Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view the contents of this CD-ROM. To operate after download, unpack the .zip file to a directory and open the home.pdf file.

National referendums historical and statistical data

This CD-Rom contains historical and statistical data on the 44 national referendums held between 1906 and 1999. Statistical data is presented at national and divisional level for referendums held between 1906 and 1988, and at national, divisional and polling place level for 1999.

The text of historical documents on this CD-ROM is presented as Microsoft Word 97 and Rich Text Format files. The statistics on this CD-Rom consist of Microsoft Excel 5 and text files.
