Expressions of interest for polling officials

The AEC has recently written to people who have in the past expressed interest in working as polling officials for past federal elections to invite them to again express interest in working for the next federal election. Expressions of interest are also welcome from people who have not previously worked as polling officials.

Deadline for expressions of interest extended

The deadline for submitting an expressions of interest has been extended to 5pm on Thursday 24 December 2009. If you have received a letter stating that the deadline for return of your form is 27 November 2009, please note the extended timeframe for returning your form.

The AEC has developed a new training package for polling officials called Checkpoint. Checkpoint offers a more modern and flexible way to learn. More information on training for polling officials will be available here soon.
