Annual Financial Disclosure Returns (2007/08) Due

The financial disclosure scheme established under Part XX of the Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918 (the Act) was introduced to inform the public about the financial dealings of parties and others involved in the electoral process.

It requires registered political parties and their associated entities, donors and third parties to lodge annual disclosure returns with the Australian Electoral Commission (the AEC).

Returns by Political Parties and Associated Entities are due by 20 October 2008

Returns by Third Parties Incurring Political Expenditure and Donors are due by 17 November 2008
