2017 enrolment rates by division

Updated: 1 May 2017

Divisional enrolment rates are calculated by dividing the number of electors enrolled for each division by their estimated enrolment eligible population at a given point in time.

The enrolment eligible population is derived using resident population estimates from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), excluding non-Australian citizens. These are projected to reflect the reference date, then adjusted to account for new Australian citizens, and other citizens included or excluded from the roll for various reasons.

Note: Due to differences between ABS and AEC data sources, methods and definitions, divisional enrolment rates are indicative estimates only.
