Teacher Professional Development Program
The education section offers electoral professional development programs for pre-service and in-service teachers.
'Your Vote Counts!'

'Your Vote Counts' is a one-day workshop for upper primary and lower secondary teachers that focuses on key ideas and introduces strategies for teaching electoral education as part of Civics and Citizenship programs in schools.
The workshop also aims to familiarise educators with the Australian constitution, the process of constitutional change and the federal electoral system. This is a activity based workshop that includes a simulated election that demonstrates the full preferential voting system.
A two-hour 'Your Vote Counts!' session presented at universities is also available for pre-service teachers.
