Successful Senate candidates elected in New South Wales

The successful candidates in the Senate Election for New South Wales (NSW) were determined today, following the completion of the Senate count by the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC).

The Australian Electoral Officer for NSW, Mr Tom Rogers will formally declare the following six (6) candidates elected as Senators for New South Wales at 1.30pm, Wednesday 19 December 2007 -

  1. Mark Arbib Labor
  2. Helen Coonan Liberal
  3. Doug Cameron Labor
  4. John Williams Nationals
  5. Marise Payne Liberal
  6. Ursula Stephens Labor

Candidates, media and members of the public are invited to attend the declaration of the poll.
