Media Release 2002: Cunningham by-election pre-poll voting reminder

There's no time like now to cast your pre-poll vote.

Cunningham electors who need to vote before polling day have been urged to act now.

The Divisional Returning Officer for Cunningham, Mrs Ann Cass reminded eligible electors that they only had until Friday this week to cast their pre-poll vote.

"Electors can cast their pre-poll vote every day until Friday, from 9am to 5pm at the pre-poll voting centre located at Shop 3, 60 Burelli Street, Wollongong," she said.

"At this late stage, I would encourage any elector who was planning to but hasn't yet applied for a postal vote, to cast a pre-poll vote if they are able to."

Electors who have already applied for a postal vote are reminded that they must have their completed postal votes in the mail back to the AEC by Friday 18 October 2002.
