Media Release 2002: Aston By-Election Disclosure Returns

Election returns of Candidates for the Aston by-election (held on 14 July 2001) which have been lodged with the Australian Electoral Commission, will be available for public inspection from 9am on Tuesday, 2 January 2002.

Candidates are required to lodge returns of donations received and certain categories of expenditure incurred.

Enquiries concerning public inspection of disclosure returns lodged by Broadcasters and Publishers of electoral advertisements should be directed to the AEC on 02 6271 4416.

During office hours Candidates, as well as Broadcasters and Publishers, returns may be inspected at the AEC's Central Office at West Block, Queen Victoria Terrace, ACT. Candidates returns may also be inspected at the AEC's Victorian Head Office in Melbourne at Level 22 Casselden Place, 2 Lonsdale Place. Please note that these returns will not be available on the AEC website.
