Media Release 2002: Vote today in the Cunningham by-election

Electors have been reminded to number every box on the ballot paper when they vote today in the Cunningham by-election.

The Divisional Returning Officer for Cunningham, Mrs Ann Cass said electors could vote at polling places from 8am until 6pm.

"I'd recommend voting straight after lunch or in the early afternoon, to avoid any delay," she said.

To find your nearest polling place ring the AEC on 13 23 26, visit the website at www.aec.gov.au/cunningham or refer to your elector leaflet mailed earlier this week.
