The AEC will make the 2001 Federal Election Financial Disclosure Returns for Candidates & Senate Groups, Broadcasters & Publishers and Third Parties available for public inspection on Monday 29 April 2002 from 9.00am (EST).

Interested parties may access the returns for Candidates & Senate Groups and Third Parties through the AEC's website (www.aec.gov.au).

Paper copies are also available for inspection during office hours at the AEC's Central Office at West Block, Queen Victoria Terrace, ACT or by request at one of the AEC Head Offices located in all capital cities.

Broadcasters and Publishers returns will not be available on the website for inspection but paper copies may be inspected at the AEC's Central Office or by request at one of the AEC Head Offices located in all capital cities.

The AEC's website is easily accessible by the public and provides another avenue for looking at election returns rather than attending the AEC's Central or Head Offices.

This is the first time that the AEC has provided Federal Election Financial Disclosure Returns on its website for inspection. The website also includes a subscriber update service and additional information on the Funding and Disclosure scheme.
