The Results

Counting for the Leadership Team in the Melbourne City Council Elections has been finalised. The successful candidates were:

Lord Mayor: John So (Melbourne Living)

Deputy Lord Mayor: Susan Maree Riley

The Returning Officer will declare the Leadership Team poll at 11am on Monday 23 July 2001, at the Melbourne Town Hall.

Counting for the seven councillor positions is continuing and is likely to be finalised late tomorrow afternoon.
