Election returns of Candidates for the Newcastle Supplementary election held on 21 November 1998, which have been lodged with the Australian Electoral Commission, will be available for public inspection from 9.00 am on Monday, 10 May 1999.

The returns cover details of donations received and certain categories of expenditure incurred by candidates. Broadcasters and Publishers are also required to lodge returns. It should be noted that political parties no longer lodge election specific returns following an election. Their annual disclosures become available on 1 February each year.

These returns may be inspected during office hours at the AEC's Central Office at West Block, Queen Victoria Terrace, ACT, or at the AEC's Head Office in Sydney at Level 4, Roden Cutler House, 24 Campbell Street.
